IB Learning Communities

CICAE’s International Baccalaureate (IB) Learning Communities are training and collaboration spaces aimed at coordinators and teachers from schools running IB programmes. Organised into three groups, one for each IB programme, they bring together professionals who share concerns, experiences and good practice to keep advancing the implementation of the IB educational model.

Through practical, collaborative sessions, these communities address some of the key challenges and methodological approaches of the IB, such as inquiry, student agency, the teacher’s role as facilitator, and family involvement in the educational process. Their aim is to create a space for peer-to-peer learning that fosters reflection, the exchange of experience and the ongoing improvement of teaching practice, thereby helping to strengthen educational quality across CICAE schools.
