On 19, 20, and 21 October, Agora Lledó International School hosted the 16th CICAE Benchmarking and Education Meeting, which brought together executives and teachers from 33 of the best private schools across Spain.
The more than one hundred professionals from the educational field who gathered last week at the school had the opportunity to learn in depth about the educational project of Agora Lledó International School. Among the main reasons why CICAE chose the school to promote this event are its excellent academic results in the International Baccalaureatewhich makes it a national reference.
On Wednesday, a monographic day focused on trends, changes and global strategies of the International Baccalaureate. Issues related to the internationalization, organization and implementation of the program in a school were also addressed.
On Thursday and Friday, the attendees were divided into working groups, according to the educational stage in which the teacher specializes, to carry out an immersion at Agora Lledó International School. The school designed an agenda with practical workshops, lectures and spaces for reflection on the Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP) and the Diploma Program (IB). The aim of the conference was to offer an insight into the daily work of the school, which has enabled it to achieve a position of educational leadership in recent years.
During the Benchmarking event, the exchange of experiences and best practices was promoted, together with the intervention of educational institutions associated with CICAE and collaborators of the association that participated in the event: Agora International Schools Spain & Andorra, Agora San Cugat IS, Agora Portals IS, Alameda de Osuna IS, Arcángel Rafael IS, aulaPlaneta, Colegio Virgen de Europa, Colegio San José de Málaga, Complejo Educativo Mas Camarena, International Baccalaureate Organization, Institución Educativa SEK, San Patricio Toledo IS.
