Sports Games
Growing together through the values of sport
The CICAE Sports Games are an annual event aimed at pupils in Years 5 and 6 of primary school at member schools in the Community of Madrid. They are CICAE’s major sporting celebration, bringing together pupils and teachers for a day of socialising in which physical activity becomes a means of learning, sharing and strengthening the bonds between schools.
Its aim is to promote the values that define educational sport: respect, solidarity, hard work, perseverance and fair play, through a programme of activities designed from a participatory and non-competitive perspective. Through sports such as athletics, capture the flag, dodgeball, kickball, colpbol and ultimate frisbee, pupils enjoy an experience that encourages healthy lifestyles, teamwork and camaraderie amongst peers, reinforcing their sense of belonging to the CICAE educational community.
