Primaria Emprende
Discover, create, innovate
Primaria Emprende is CICAE’s annual programme designed to introduce primary school pupils to entrepreneurship. Following the success of the Entrepreneurship Club for secondary and sixth-form students, the Association is promoting this initiative – developed in collaboration with MBA Kids – to foster skills such as creativity, initiative, communication and teamwork from an early age. The programme offers schools a flexible approach, educational support throughout the academic year and training for teachers.
Objectives
What they will achieve
Fostering an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age.
To develop skills such as creativity, critical thinking, initiative and problem-solving
To foster personal and social skills such as communication, leadership and teamwork.
To introduce pupils to project-based learning and the creation of solutions that make a difference.
To provide schools and teachers with resources and support to integrate entrepreneurship into the classroom.
Who is it aimed at?
The programme is designed for pupils in Years 3 to 6 of primary education at CICAE schools and offers teachers a flexible approach that can be easily integrated into the school’s educational programme. In addition to the teaching materials, teachers receive training and support throughout the process to facilitate its implementation.
Structure of the programme
A journey full of challenges and lessons learnt.
Throughout the course, pupils work in teams to identify needs in their local community, come up with a business idea linked to the Sustainable Development Goals, define their value proposition, design a brand, draw up a budget and prepare a presentation of their project. Each challenge brings them one step closer to the experience of real-life entrepreneurship.
The programme culminates in Demo Day, an event at which the teams present their projects and put everything they have learnt into practice. Participating schools also benefit from priority entry to the MBA League, where pupils have the opportunity to present their ideas in a real-world setting alongside students from other schools.
Regardless of the final result, CICAE Emprende Primaria helps pupils develop an entrepreneurial mindset when facing life’s challenges. They learn to think critically, to collaborate, to communicate their ideas with confidence and to understand that, with effort, creativity and teamwork, any project can become a reality. Because entrepreneurship is also about learning to believe in oneself.
