The school is located in Soto de Viñuelas, a residential neighborhood of Madrid, which is located in the north of the city. It offers facilities specifically designed for children from 20 months to 18 years of age (kindergarten through high school) and has a capacity for more than 1,600 students. The school, of almost 5 hectares, is located in the countryside, specifically between the city and the Guadarrama mountains, but is very well connected to the city center by bus and train.
King’s College is the only school in Madrid accredited by the Department for Education (DfE) in the United Kingdom as “Excellent” in all categories, offering a British curriculum for its students. To be recognized by the DfE, as British School Overseas (BSO) the school must pass regular external inspections.
The international residence, Tenbury House, offers high quality accommodation. All rooms have private bathrooms, underfloor heating and Internet access. There are common areas and a kitchen that students can use for light meals.
