Madrid, October 30, 2024 – The Association for the Integration and Progress of PANDORA Cultures(AIPC PANDORA) and the Association of Private and Independent Schools (CICAE) have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of working together to implement innovative educational programs that promote global citizenship, volunteering, social entrepreneurship and cultural exchanges.
This agreement, signed by Ana Eseverri Mayer, General Director of AIPC PANDORA, and Elena Cid, General Director of CICAE, marks a milestone in the commitment of both organizations to train young agents of change on their way to leading innovative projects to create fairer societies.
Elena Cid, General Director of CICAE, highlights the importance of this agreement to accompany and help young students on their way to becoming “responsible global citizens, with an open mind and a strong social conscience, equipping them with skills that will enable them to face the challenges of the future successfully”.
For Ana Eseverri, General Director of AIPC PANDORA, this agreement “means joining forces with the formal education sector to contribute in a structured way with schools in the training of their young people as agents of change and global citizens of a more just, sustainable and peaceful world. AIPC Pandora, an NGO with 23 years of experience in international volunteering, social entrepreneurship and cultural exchange in more than 60 countries, puts its team and experience at CICAE’s disposal to expand the impact of transformative education”.
Collaboration Objectives
Global Education: Facilitate programs that promote the development of an active and conscious global citizenship, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Volunteering and International Exchange: To provide students with the opportunity to participate in volunteer and cultural exchange projects in various countries in order to broaden their global perspective and foster intercultural understanding.
Educational Innovation: Introduce innovative educational tools and resources that strengthen students’ competencies in areas such as social entrepreneurship and innovation.
International Projection: To jointly develop initiatives that strengthen the international character of CICAE member schools, providing students with enriching formative experiences at a global level.
