El londinense ofrecer\u00e1 una ponencia el d\u00eda 15 de noviembre en las instalaciones de este centro educativo de Boadilla del Monte.<\/p>\n<p>Guy Claxton es licenciado en Ciencias Naturales en Cambridge y Doctorado en Psicolog\u00eda Experimental en Oxford. Ha editado alrededor de treinta libros, adem\u00e1s de numerosos art\u00edculos para revistas especializadas y generalistas. Gran parte de su carrera profesional la ha dedicado a los departamentos de educaci\u00f3n universitarios, en los que ha investigado y ense\u00f1ando principalmente sobre la psicolog\u00eda del aprendizaje.<\/p>\n<p>En su \u00faltimo libro, <strong>Powering Up Children<\/strong>, publicado este mismo a\u00f1o, indaga en estrategias de la ense\u00f1anza para lograr estudiantes capaces de \u201celegir, investigar, buscar, resolver problemas y evaluar el aprendizaje por s\u00ed mismos\u201d. Un trabajo basado en las ideas de su m\u00e9todo Building Learning Poweb (BLP) que muestra con numerosos ejemplos c\u00f3mo aplicarlo en el aula en Primaria.<\/p>\n<p>Guy Claxton es miembro de la Sociedad Brit\u00e1nica de Psicolog\u00eda, de la Royal Society of Arts y de la Academia de las Ciencias Sociales. Adem\u00e1s, es el art\u00edfice del programa <strong>Building Learning Poweb (BLP)<\/strong>, integrado en gran cantidad de colegios en todo el mundo, y creador de la Red de Educaci\u00f3n Expandida.
