{"id":19396,"date":"2024-12-11T09:17:23","date_gmt":"2024-12-11T09:17:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cicae.com\/actividades-cicae\/ib-learning-communities-2nd-online-session\/"},"modified":"2026-09-07T15:19:52","modified_gmt":"2026-09-07T15:19:52","slug":"ib-learning-communities-2nd-online-session","status":"publish","type":"actividades-cicae","link":"https:\/\/www.cicae.com\/en\/actividades-cicae\/ib-learning-communities-2nd-online-session\/","title":{"rendered":"IB Learning Communities &#8211; 2nd Online Session"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On <strong>January 21, 2025, <\/strong>the 2nd Online Session of the IB Learning Communities for I<strong>nternational Baccalaureate Coordinators and Teachers<\/strong> will take place.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>In three parallel sessions (PYP, MYP and Diploma Programme) we will dive deeper into:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Transdisciplinary Units in the PYP \u2013 Session led by Concep Muntada (SEK International Schools)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 The concepts of backward planning and collaborative planning in the PYP.<br\/>\u2022 Developing a transdisciplinary unit of inquiry step by step.<br\/>\u2022 From the sections of the planner to the taught curriculum.<br\/>\u2022 Transdisciplinarity grounded in meaningful connections.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Personal Project in the MYP &#8211; <\/strong><strong>Session led by Alba Garc\u00eda (Colegio Brains Arturo Soria)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Purpose and objective of the project: how the project can be an opportunity to explore individual interests, skills and values.<br\/>\u2022 Research and planning process: the importance of setting a clear plan with specific goals, a timeline and strategies to organize the work.<br\/>\u2022 Creating the final product and evaluation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Strategic Integration of the Diploma Programme Core: TOK, Extended Essay and CAS <\/strong><strong>\u2013 Session led by Bernard L\u00f3pez (C.E.
